As a realist painter I have enormous respect for artists who create powerful compositions entirely from their imaginations. So taking Johny's vibrant work filled with organic and geometric forms presented me with an opportunity to move outside my comfort zone and use a new medium to insinuate one of my favourite creatures into his formal structure.
I think Johny was equally challenged by the monotype print that I chose to depict my memory of an old Inuit sod hut in Northern Greenland...the only Danish land  that I have visited. I love what he did with It!

In my first step I thought a lot about leaving space for Patricia. I had checked her home page and found a fine poetic artistic expression, so I made softer colours than usual and simplified my composition. Patricia finished my work in a way, that made me so happy, because she understood my organic expression.

I very much liked Patricia’s first step, because she had structure in the painting and a fine pale colour scheme. I worked with her painting with great respect. She was very appreciative of what I did. I enjoy the collaboration very much!
